RwandAir Catering Ltd is a fast-growing In-flight Catering Company in Rwanda that started its operations from August 2014 and is providing catering services to scheduled airlines, private jet and charters. RwandAir Catering Ltd aims to be one of the biggest aviation catering companies in Africa in few years to come.

WAITER/ WAITRESS
Job Purpose:
The Waiter/ Waitress is mainly charged with making the dining experience of a customer very enjoyable
Job Title : Waiter / Waitress
Department: Finance and Operations Royal Airport Café Unit
Reporting to: Supervisor
Main duties and responsibilities:
The position holder will perform, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:
- Greet and escort customers to their tables
- Present menu and deliver detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Take accurate food and drinks orders,
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and keep a tidy dining area
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- deliver excellent customer service to guests
- Perform any other tasks assigned by team leaders.
Required Qualifications, Skills, Experience and Abilities
- High School diploma
- Good Customer Service or Hospitality experience is an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Team spirit
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
