Responsibilities or duties
The Chemical Officer will support the operation, maintenance and performance optimisation of mechanical infrastructure in the power plant, including critical systems such as diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring chemical and mechanical systems.
- Investigating root causes of failures.
- Implementing corrective actions.
- Developing preventive maintenance programmes.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
- Applying environmental protection procedures.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
