We specialise in air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, product sourcing, and supply chain coordination, connecting Rwanda and Central Africa to markets in China, Dubai, Turkey, India, Egypt, and Malaysia.

About the Role

The Public Relations & Marketing Officer is tasked with driving brand awareness, guide generation, and all marketing activities for Capitalist SL Rwanda. This person represents the Company in the market, manages all communication channels, and builds strong relationships with clients, media, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Outreach

• perform consistent outreach to potential clients via in-person, WhatsApp, and phone visits to introduce Capitalist services
• Attend business events, trade fairs, and networking meetings to represent the Company
• Plan and execute the Company's marketing and sales strategy in alignment with management direction

Digital Marketing & Social Media

• Plan, create, and content for our Company social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) 
• oversee paid advertising campaigns on social media and Google 
• Update the Company website and blog regularly with current service information, pricing, and news
• Create original marketing content including videos, photos, reels, and podcast material
• collaborate with designers to organize production of flyers, banners, business cards, and promotional materials

Public Relations & Partnerships

• Arrange radio mentions, TV features, podcast appearances, and press coverage for Capitalist
• Build and oversee relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, journalists, and media partners
• Plan and execute outdoor advertising and signage in strategic Kigali locations
• Represent Capitalist at exhibitions, business forums, and community events
• Build relationships with business partners, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and institutional stakeholders
• Draft and distribute press releases, company announcements, and promotional communications

Requirements & Qualifications

• Based in Kigali, Rwanda
• Multilingual English and Kinyarwanda required; French is a strong advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or Business — or equivalent experience
• AITA certificate, highly commanded.
