Thinda Co., Ltd. operates Mashariki Life, a Chinese-founded integrated supplier based in Kigali. Our showroom features four core product lines: commercial LED displays, landscape lighting projects, whole-house interior customization, and solar PV and energy storage solutions. We deliver product display, design, supply, installation and after-sales service for homes, businesses, contractors and government projects.
Job Description
As our Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Mashariki Life in the market — spotting new business opportunities, winning over clients, and showcasing our products and solutions. You'll own your sales pipeline end to end and play a direct role in driving the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with B2B and B2G clients — companies, contractors, real estate developers, hotels, commercial buildings, and government or public institutions.
- Sell across our three business lines: commercial indoor/outdoor LED screens and rental displays; furniture, lighting and sanitary-ware whole-home solutions; and residential and commercial solar panels, batteries, inverters and energy storage systems.
- Own the full sales cycle — from the first client visit through needs analysis, quotation, negotiation, contract signing, order follow-up and payment collection.
- Nurture client relationships that turn into repeat business and referrals, while keeping an eye on new project leads and tenders.
- Keep management in the loop on market trends, competitor pricing and your sales performance.
- Work closely with our showroom, design, engineering and supply-chain teams so every project lands on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 2-3 years of proven B2B sales experience.
- Background in building materials, lighting, LED displays, solar energy or engineering equipment is a strong plus.
- Existing relationships with government bodies, companies, contractors or property developers in Rwanda are highly valued.
- Fluent in business English; Kinyarwanda or French is a plus, and Chinese even more so.
- A target-driven mindset with sharp negotiation and communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for meeting clients on the ground.
- A valid driving license is preferred. Above all, we're looking for someone reliable, responsible and committed to growing with us long-term.
