The Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) has received financing from KfW toward the cost of Construction of drainage system and rehabilitation of EDCL plot at Gisagara substation and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract to be signed with the successful bidder.
The EDCL now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for construction drainage system and rehabilitation of EDCL plot at Gisagara substation. The works will be executed within Five (5) months.
Bidding will be conducted by means of the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the KfW Guidelines for Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries (“KfW Guidelines”) available for download under https://www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de/PDF/Download-Center/PDF-Dokumente-Richtlinien/FZ-Vergaberichtlinien-V-2021-EN.pdf
Bidders may obtain further information from 03/03/2023 at Procurement Office of EDCL located at Kigali City Tower (KCT), 2nd floor, PO Box 3855 Kigali, E-mail: [email protected] and [email protected] and to [email protected]
A complete set of bidding documents is available to all Bidders from EDCL Headquarters, 2nd floor in Procurement Office.
The site visit conducted is compulsory and shall be organized on 15/03/2023. The departure place is EDCL Head office from 9 a.m. Every bidder shall have its own transport facility and travel on own costs. The bids from bidders who have not attended the site visit will be rejected.
All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of Seven Million Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Rwandan Francs (7,450,000 Rwf ).
Bids must be delivered to the address indicated in the clause ITB 22.1 of the bidding documents on or before 27/03/2023 at 10 a.m. local time (8GMT). Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives.
