JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications
• At least a Diploma (A1) in electrical Engnieering
• At least 1 year of work experience in the sam field
• Maximum age is 35
Responsibilities
• On a shift basis, performs maintenance (Planned & breakdown), troubleshooting and repair works on lighting system and related equipment & auxiliary services;
• Studies plans, drawings and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of repairs and/or installations while 4
• working independently or leading a team to ensure on time completion of the assigned tasks;
• Provides technical assistance and resolution when electrical/electronic or other engineering problems are encountered within lighting installation and equipment to ensure high system availability;
• Makes note of required/used spares, take care of the tools used/required for the task, ensure permission is obtained prior to working on any equipment/system or before accessing the maneuvering area, maintain continuous watch on tower radio (while working on own watch permission), to ensure the timely & safe completion of the assigned works;
• Performs duties such as overseeing the contractor’s work and witnessing the acceptance testing of new installation at sites or completes any other work assigned by the Power House Coordinator and assists other staff when necessary on work and specific technology related issues;
• Completes and update any assigned documentation such as the routine maintenance checklist/work orders/equipment history cards on a daily basis or any other general / technical documentation;
• Maintains high level of situational awareness while working on live runways;
• Adheres to the standard practice of airfield safety, safety of the equipment, personnel & quality of the work in accordance with department’s quality management system & safety requirements and report unsafe activity and conditions.
