1. Overview
HAARZOPF Ltd is a manufacturing company, initiated investment in Rwanda in manufacturing of hair products.
HAARZOPF Ltd is closer to start operations in Kigali with one factory. This factory will work with international companies and local partners. The factory mission is to satisfy at high level its international and local clients with the produced high qualified products.
In order to achieve our mission to our clients we need a sharp line officer. This role is essential to make sure that products meet client’s quantity and quality standards. He/she will play a critical role to meet targets of the daily production. He/she will lead workers working in production line under his/her responsibilities, to maximize the produce of production line in big quantity and perfect quality. He will play a critical role in managing the daily production, fostering line team collaboration.

2. Job Description
Production Supervisor / Line Officer is responsible for organizing effectively the workers team allocated to a production line, operating and maintaining equipment on a production line to meet production daily, weekly, monthly targets and ensure quality standards. This role involves tasks like operating machinery, inspecting the workers, and following production schedules. They may also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, reporting defects, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
The Production Supervisors / Line Officers ensure all manufacturing goes smoothly and efficiently by closely monitoring how workers operate their work. A Production Supervisor / Line Officer is integral in a fast-paced production environment.
3. Scope of Work And Duties
- Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher output
- Make daily, weekly and monthly reports of every worker under his production line
- Submit the daily, weekly and monthly report to his/her subdivision manager on time
- Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new workers
- Handling supply and inventory of raw goods in the production line
- Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within factory premises
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
- Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency
- Maintaining communication between workers and subdivision manager and division manager to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood
- Inspect the products for quality and size specifications
- Check the quality and count the correct number of products that should go for next stage
- Notify the subdivision manager of any problems that arise on the production floor
- Follow and assist the workers to implement all company policies and safety protocols
- Participate in the production meetings
- Write and submit attendance list of workers on daily basis

- Knowledge of operational processes for factory production line
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately mainly using data management software
- Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any related field

7. Qualifications
- Secondary School diploma.
- Intermediate knowledge of English and Microsoft Office.
- Strong skills in efficient time and deadline management and ability to work in a team environment.
- High interpersonal skills, creativity and consequent in action.
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Get training in HAARZOPF Academy for 6 months at least.
8. Job Duration
Entire job duration will be 1 year; extension of this is possible based on performance.
Duty Hours 6 Day -8 hours/ day
Probation Period 3 months
