Weighing Instruments Officer

Job description
• Perform initial, sub-sequent verification and metrological control of weighing measuring instruments
• Ensuring that standard used are traceable at national and international level.
• Participate in awareness campaign on the use of weighing instruments and its stamping.
• Provide report to direct supervisor on work performed and matters affecting the work in the laboratory
• Maintaining records generated as per the procedure in place;
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of quality management system as per RS 438:2021 requirements;
• Implement provision of the law and ministerial order related to the importation of measuring instruments;
• Account for monthly revenue generated from the execution of laboratory activities and report to the direct supervisor
• Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organized manner at all times.
• Operate in compliance with organizational regulation and rules

• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
