JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales Engineer at Davis & Shirtliff will support sales operations and client engagement in line with D&S’s objectives, ensuring customer satisfaction, effective promotion of products, and operational efficiency while developing technical and professional skills in the water equipment and solar energy sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clients with detailed product usage and maintenance information to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
- Assist in achieving sales targets through proactive engagement and excellent customer service.
- Assist in preparing and presenting technical proposals and quotations to clients.
- Assist in coordinating product deliveries and maintaining inventory records.
- Support administrative tasks, including preparing reports, updating databases, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
- Rotate across departments to gain exposure to various operational and technical aspects of the business.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as Civil, Mechanical, or Water Resources Engineering.
- Graduated between 6 months and 2 years ago.
- Eagerness to work in customer-facing roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- AutoCAD skills are an added advantage.
DURATION AND OPPORTUNITY
Six-month paid internship, with the possibility of an employment offer based on good performance.
