JOB DETAILS:
The Kigali Collaborative Research Center (KCRC), an NGO based in Kigali, Rwanda, facilitates high standard and diverse research and innovations. It consists of affiliated researchers and sponsors who carry out projects promoting research and innovation in Africa. Projects are funded by domestic and international organizations that require support of the highest standards in order to be successful. This position oversees an international research project on a circular economy for plastic waste. It supports organizational administration, diligence, and reporting activities related to its regular operations. .

Duties and Responsibilities
The research network manager will handle the communications, scheduling, and coordination of research network events and meetings. They will assist the pursuit of an outreach strategy to new members, sharing informational material, and following up to ensure engagement. The role involves communications to existing academic and industrial research network members, and outreach to government, industrial, and civil society organizations.
This role includes responsibility for administration and organization of both regular project investigator collaboration meetings, and of outward facing research network events. Minutes of meetings, and circulation of such reports to relevant parties are included in these duties, along with sending electronic invitations, and following up participants.
The research network manager role also requires the compilation of periodic reporting information, maintenance of accounting records, and engagement with auditing professionals.
