UI/UX Designer Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs.
- Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, and information architecture.
- Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Develop responsive UI designs for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain and enhance the organization's design system and UI component library.
- Ensure consistency in branding and user experience across all digital platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback.
- Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Optimize applications for accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
- Stay updated with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and product demonstrations within Agile teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile application design projects.
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, InVision, or ProtoPie.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development processes.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing enterprise applications.
- Experience creating design systems.
- Familiarity with Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience designing dashboards, ERP systems, fintech, healthcare, or government digital solutions.
- Knowledge of animation and micro-interactions.
- Experience with AI-assisted design tools.
